The Lue Cosmetics line was developed out of my personal need for healthy cosmetics that not only out-performed traditional cosmetics but was natural and better for my skin. I started using cosmetics at an early age to cover up acne but it seemed to only make my acne worse and had that caked-on look that no one wants. Though there were other natural and mineral cosmetics already out there calling their products natural, they still included objectionable ingredients like petro-chemicals, parabens and bismuth oxychloride.

Instead of continuing the frustrating search for the ideal cosmetic line, I decided to create the solution for myself. So my own passion to create somthing better a natural mineral make-up I started developing a line of cosmetics. Drawing on my own expertise with cosmetics and my husband’s experience as a Chemist, I began to develop a safe, natural mineral cosmetics with a beautiful range of color.

In 2000 Lue Cosmetics was born. I have continued to develop the Lue Cosmetics line with a focus on pure, natural and organic ingredients. Now I am working with my husband and some of the most innovative and creative chemists and experts, developing new and exciting natural, organic and mineral cosmetics.

From the beginning I have been an advocate for stricter cosmetic safety standards and a no animal testing policy I am actively involved and a signer in The 'Compact for Safe Cosmetics'.
