Jane's passion for all things creative and Natural has been a lifelong. From an early age she was entranced by make-up for simply being fun in its ability to change the face with color. Growing up her love of art, nature and especially cosmetics made this a focus of studies and personal expression.

Her background and education gave her further knowledge of the aesthetic and color. Jane believes that the powers of cosmetics are a form of personal expression.

Jane's own passions and family interests created a natural path to her work developing cosmetics. Drawing on her own expertise in color mixing, her husband’s experience as a Chemist Jane began to develop safe, nurturing cosmetics with a beautiful range of colors that spoke to the artist and naturalist in her. Jane has continued to develop the Lue Cosmetics line with a focus on pure, natural and organic ingredients. Since the company’s inception, Jane has been an advocate for stricter cosmetic safety standards and is actively involved in The 'Compact for Safe Cosmetics'.
